By the looks of my speed tests of my cable internet, it appears as if Charter is now beginning to roll out their 3 megabit cable internet service in central Minnesota. So far tonight, I’ve been consistently getting download results of about 3000kbps on my internet, even though 2000kbps is the service that I’m supposed to have. My upload results have also been very much higher than usual, above 200kbps the entire night. It certainly looks like Charter is doing something with their internet. It’s been expected, though, that they would be upgrading their Charter Pipeline internet service, since users in central Michigan began to see increased speeds with their internet a few weeks ago. Now it just appears that the higher speeds have been introduced to more parts of the country. I’m going to keep checking Charter.com to see if they make any announcements regarding the changes.
